Established in 2015 by team from South Africa, the Netherlands, the United States, and Indonesia, Lay Day has been the trailblazer in Bali's hostel scene right from the get-go. Lay Day was born out of sheer passion and a craving for the ultimate beach lifestyle. What started out as a modest hostel in Canggu with just 30 beds, a small pool, and a cosy little bar grew to become a whopping 100 beds with daily parties. A vibrant community of kindred spirits and a strong following were subsequently formed. Now, the time has come to unveil our brand-new Lay Day Hostel smack-bang in the heart of Uluwatu, with a staggering 173 beds.
